Need for Speed 2015 PC Delay Causes Frustration Among Gamers

The latest installment in the Need for Speed series, Heat, has been met with both excitement and frustration among gamers. While some players have reported enjoying the game, others have been plagued by a constant input lag that makes it difficult to play.

As a fan of the series myself, I was looking forward to diving back into the world of high-speed racing. However, my experience has been marred by this frustrating issue. Despite having a gaming rig that is capable of handling demanding games smoothly, I've found that Heat is plagued by input lag.

I've tried a number of solutions proposed by the gaming community, including adjusting the game's window type and adding a config file to utilize all CPU cores. Unfortunately, none of these solutions have worked for me.

The input lag is particularly noticeable when playing certain types of tracks or engaging in specific driving maneuvers. For example, drifting and running away from police are both challenging due to the delayed response to my inputs. Time trials through tight spaces like container park can also be frustrating, as I need to plan ahead carefully to avoid mistakes.

What's even more disappointing is that this issue doesn't seem to affect other racing titles I've played. My gaming rig is capable of handling demanding games without any issues, and Heat is no exception in terms of frame rate. It happily runs at 60 frames per second, but the input lag remains a constant problem.

As someone who has been looking forward to playing Heat, it's disheartening to find that the game is not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The input lag makes the game virtually unplayable for me, and I've found myself ragequitting in frustration more often than I'd like.

I'm not alone in this issue, either. Other players have reported similar problems with input lag, and it's clear that this is a widespread problem. It's disappointing to see such a major issue affecting the gaming experience, especially for a game that had so much potential.

Until a patch or update addresses this issue, I'll be forced to put my love of Need for Speed on hold. For now, I'll have to content myself with other racing games that don't suffer from input lag issues. Here's hoping that the developers will take steps to address this problem soon, and restore the series to its former glory.
